Began class by working with Excel in clarification to dice simulator assignment.

• chart wizard -> remove series to fix horizontal "x" axis

Moved to Maple V

• Basic equation solving
  • worked with complex and defined ranges. {(ie) x=[0..100]}
• Find Max or Min of f(x)
  • f'(x)=0
• Solving systems of equations
  • {x+4y+2z, -x-7y-5z, x+y+z=-7},{x,y,z}
  • write as vectors

1. Worked in Maple to do the calculus assignment from the assigned website. (Second Max/Min assignment.)
2. Printed out graph to do labeling by hand.
3. Turned in assignment before the end of class.
